A Charlie Brown Christmas

As a kid we tried decorating our Christmas tree while the Charlie Brown Christmas special was on. Dad initially put the lights on the tree and we decorated but as we grew older we just took over the whole process. Mom would bake the cookies and serve the hot chocolate. We would go through the macaroni ornaments we made in elementary school and proudly hang our "baby's first Christmas" ornaments too. Every time I watch this it takes me back to those days now past but I have grown to appreciate those memories. The one thing I like most about this special is the final part; it reminds us what the season is all about. Merry Christmas
